mood: honest
Quieter day after a heavy week. Named three bets out loud instead of starting them quietly.
Was tempted to skip the day entirely. Instead of forcing code, I wrote three milestone kickoffs — each naming the bet, the cancel condition, and the revision path.
A personal-agent demo. The first Godfrey Labs product with payments wired. A local coding agent experiment with a hard cancel date if quality stays below the bar.
No code shipped. Three named outcomes is more useful than three half-started implementations.
Shipped
- Three milestone kickoffs — each with an explicit cancel condition
Notes
Kickoffs are cheap to write and expensive to skip. The clause that matters most is the cancel condition. A project with no exit is the same as a project that never ends.
